  • Almost there...just electrical

Thank you all for the wealth of information. I'm hooking up the last of the wiring and I'm kinda lost. My '82 with Tecumseh was mostly intact but wiring was a mess and missing. What is the proper way to hook up these parts in the pics. Maybe I'm missing some smaller pieces. Pics couldn't load. I am referring to the box on side of the engine cover... regulator (2 yellow wires and black wire. The other issue is the wiring next to it. I believe it to be coil or stator. It has 2 yellow and a red wire.

Just wondering if there is any small parts to the system... other than a fuse.

Looks like you are missing a couple 3 plug in ends, the yellow go to each other, the red is battery charge, black is ignition shut down.
Your Argo parts manual should tell the rest.

Thanks for the help. Read so much, got confused. Should be able to start it up in the next while. Bearings and tires next.

I probably worded my reply wrong, there would be 3 2 prong plugs , 2 with yellows going to yellows and then a separate plug with black and red feeding machine.
