  • 70s argo turning hard when hot

Old school 70s argo, turns fine when i fire it up but as things heat up it becomes very difficult to turn. Anyone have similar issues and if so what did you do to remedy this? One possibility i was thinking is there is a bit of gear oil that leaks from the top at the shifter and perhaps some is getting on the brake discs... I've inspected the pads and they seem in decent condition. If i let it cool down a few minutes it turns fine till it gets hot again. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a characteristic of the manual brake twin stick older Argo`s. The brakes are probably glazed and or rotors polished. May have them adjusted too tight.
