            I ended up taking it to a fab shop, but yes everything was custom made. Wasn't a whole lot of work, they knocked it out in a day.

                Well now, I can see why you went for that Moose plow, color coordination. It looks super. No need for an amber caution light, but wait, amber is yellow

                We got snow today - Hooray

                I happened to be in the Twin Cities area Friday and I stopped in at the Northern Tool Co. factory outlet. They had a 42" blade that was either an over stock or return. It was $299 and not a good deal in my book. Kohler engines were another story.

                      Looks nice, and they did a great job. I noticed that they mounted to the front wheels. When I made my carriage (Pics in gallery) I was concerned about my 6x6 and the carriage "FOLDING" at the mount point (in your case, the front wheels) under a heavy load. I ended up mounting the linking the carriage to the 6x6 closer to the center wheels. Now I'm waiting for the snow so I can test my theory. I hope both configurations work. We can compare notes when MA-Nature gives us some snow. Again, it looks great and they did a nice job!
                      It's all just nuts and bolts.

                        Yeah the only problem I have ran into so far, is this.

                        When I took it to the fab shop I showed them several pictures and diagrams that cougar sent me as well as a couple other photos from the site. They saw that the mounts stick out a good amount in front of the body and asked how you ride with those on. I told them its no big deal to take the front wheels off and unbolt a couple bolts, remove the mount, and put the (shorter) bolts back in, wouldn't take but 10 minutes. The guy at the shop said well let me think this through and ill have it finished in a couple hours.

                        So i go back and he has fabbed up those shorty mounts, they don't stick out and further than the body does, and he goes now you can ride with the mounts on all year long. But, I don't think he knows how much the tires flex when we ride, because there is limited clearance between the bolt that holds the plow to the mount and the tire. And to top it off there is a big sharp cotter pin on the outside of the mount because there wasn't enough clearance to get a nut on there. Any guesses on how long before i pop a tire?
