  • 6X6 Scout, Best tire pressure

What would be my best tire pressure for all around use without tracks and also with rubber track.
I know the user manual says 2 1/2 pounds without tracks and the dealer had told me something different with tracks but now I can't remember.
What would be the best ?

Tire pressure can be anywhere from 2.5 - 7 lbs.
Personal preference on the ride you want to get. With tracks (18” rubber) there is a specific pattern of pressure as suggested by the company. 5 lbs in the fronts, 5 lbs in the middles and 6 lbs in the rears.
I run the tracks in winter but leave the pressures the same. I also added Quad Boss tire sealant to the tires to help with pressure loss.

Tire pressure can vary depending on terrain when running just tires. I usually run around 2 pounds with an extra pound in the front for anytime it's all slow speed crawling. I've bumped it up a bit lately for getting down some gravel roads so i don't have so much bounce coming out of potholes. When it comes to rubber tracks it depends on the size of your tires and how your tracks are cut as adjusting tire pressure will affect track tension.Your going to want 2-3 inches of sag under the centre tire.
