O)k guys , I don't understand how to chain adjuster works, I was looking at the adjuster today , The 1/2 round metal with the teeth, I turned it going up and then it stayed at the higher position, Now I noticed that my chain at the top is a little tighter. The white plastic slider did not move, Now my question is : Since I don't know how to bring it back where it was, is it ok if I leave it there or does it have to go back where it was.
I am quite new about adjusting chains.
    Thanks guys

Don’t feel bad! These things are about as mysterious and archaic as it gets...had mine 3 years and don’t have a clue about it or how to “adjust” it??

It's going to be fine, as stated in the previous post, once an Argo adjuster moves up it's not going back down, you have four chains on each side, one of them is always going to be in a various state of adjustment
