Price for a 1994 Argo Conquest

Hi

New guy here, hoping to get some much needed info

I am going to look at an Argo Conquest , I believe it is a 1994 model.

It is a one owner machine , with 420 hours on it .

Was mostly used for deer hunting here in Pa. by a handicapped fellow .

Machine looks (from pictures only , so far ) to be in excellent condition.

It was always stored inside when not being used .

It does have a set o Argo plastic tracks on it , as it was mostly used in the snow

the asking price is $5500 .

Looking to find out it that price is a little high, way high! , maybe fair considering the nice shape the machine is in ,and considering it has a set of tracks with it

The tracks are something I would want to have anyway , I would be using it mostly in
snowy conditions (for deer hunting ) .

Any suggestions out there would be greatly appreciated.

It is going to be an 8 hour round trip to look at it , so I am going with a truck and trailer (and money) when I do check it out, so any advice you folks have would be great

May be priced high (as many private sale items are). Bring the $5500 and make him an offer...a private sale item is always negotiable but if he won’t budge, be prepared to walk away or pay.
A “book” value or someone else’s opinion of worth means nothing but keep in mind the seller may have tried to talk to a dealer and was low balled (which is what dealers do). Usually, an excellent condition product commands a higher price too.
