Press for 34-100 Rebuild

Hello,
I am needing to rebuild my spare Avenger transmission, so I watched the helpful video that Argo Adventure posted. My question is; can a regular H or A Shop Press be used to rebuild this transmission, or is an Arbor Press needed? And if an Arbor Press is needed, what throat size/ ton rating?

Hydraulic shop press will do the job. Arbor press is very fast for the bushings ect but not necessary. Follow the instructions for separating the case halves. It’s easy to break an ear off if you force it.
