  • cloudy windows

Ok heres the problem. From a few years of use and not so ideal storage of the windows on my top They have some scraches and are alittle foggy. Is there anything that can be done to clear them up besides replacement windows?

I remember a plexiglass cleaner that was available from boat dealers a few years ago. If I can find the bottle in my garage, I'll post the info from it.

      Novus Motorcycle Polish

I've had lots of Jeeps and Land Rovers with soft tops over the years and I use Novus Brand motorcycle polish available at most Honda Dealers and probably other places. Novus is a liquid, like car polish, but made for plastic bodies of ATV's and street bikes. It comes in several different grades sort of like sandpaper. I used the mildest for fine polish and it removes scratches. Cloudy plastic in my opinion just has to be replaced, I haven't found anything to fix that problem yet.

      Good Luck with it.

I have seen some different plastic polishes at Auto Zone/Advanced/Pep Boys, etc lately....most recently I saw one for the plastic headlights that may work well for you.
        Hammers should have warning labels.

When I was in the Army, (20+ years ago) we used to use a brass polish called "BRASSO". I've seen it on store shelves, so I know they still make it. You have to shake/mix it real good and put it on a very soft cloth. It's a very, very fine grit, and does OK.
It's all just nuts and bolts.
