  • Ajusting Throttle cable

While adjusting the slack out of the throttle cable on my 2018 Frontier 600 se 6x6 . I noticed A spring hooked to A flat lever with A line of holes and the holes are numbered . Does anyone know what this is and why the different hole settings. I have the Kohler 750 efi . Thanks for any Info you'll have The best to all---------Gunner11

If it's anything like the setup on the Vanguard engines, it's just part of the governor mechanism. I tried playing with the springs and their mounting points on my Vanguard and when I blipped the throttle it went and stuck wide open... That got put right back to the way it was before and that's where it's stayed lol.

Other than that, I suppose it could be for adjusting the throttle return force maybe?
