  • How does Argo Bench seat attach?

Hi, I have a 93 Vanguard 6x6. I took apart the argo a few years ago to try to restore some stuff, including the seats. I cut out new wood and put new cushion and cloth on it. Now I can't remember how to attach the front bench seat. I've tried searching in the forums but no luck. There don't seem to be holes anywhere to attach it.
    Thanks.

      Thanks.
That sucks you may have to uncover it again, should be 2 angle brackets with bolts into wood using t nuts.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

You mean they're actually suppose to bolt in? Mine's literally just resting on the frame lol

Sorry thought for a second you had the newer seat with the tool box.

However the seat still attaches with t nuts, check your parts manual and though it does not show exact installation it will give you a clue. Basically you can remove the duel tank strap bolts, lay the seat in and use the mounting holes as a guide. Cheapest easiest way would be large wood screws from bottom though not recommended.
