Hello everyone. Just joined and getting plenty of information. Thinking of buying a 2015 750 HDI. Machine looks to be in great condition. Very clean in the pictures. I'm a 3 hour drive from the seller. From what I've read on this site I should Jack it up and check for any play in the bearings. The seller says he changed 3 of the bearings. Does this usually mean the other bearings will need to be replaced soon? I've never owned an argo yet so hoping someone can help. Also what is the cost of bearings for a 750 HDI? Thanks.

best to prepare to replace the remaining bearings, never know how well kept the machine is or who has been keeping it up. Can't give price of bearings but they aren't too bad. Also not bad to change once all is apart and I don't own a press nor consider myself a mechanic.

Thanks for replying. I had him send me pictures of the chain and sprockets. Looks well oiled and again very clean. I don't consider myself a mechanic either but do as much as I can. Lol

I was intimidated and at time very frustrated when I went through my argo. It wasn't well maintained so I pulled the drive train apart salvaged what I could and replaced the rest. Once apart reassembly was easy. Just did the brakes and same although none of that was seized like parts of the drive train. I also don't have mechanic tools or a press so all had to be done by hand and it is very possible.
