Vanguard 35hp upgrade

hi guys,

I am after some reliable advice on what would be a suitable clutch's and belt combination for a vanguard 35 hp engine slotted into an 88 Argo.

Had previously put a GX690 with a 1 1/8 shaft but this power pack is going into a different machine.

There is a ton of advice around the Polaris clutches and drive belts but in my mind I feel a comet 1190 Would be simple rugged and reliable. The advice from one supplier has been conflicting. Accurate advice would be appreciated as I'm in Australia so returns arnt an option.
