  • New member: I have owned an Argo Avenger 8x8 since 2006

Would like to learn to do my own maintenance on my Argo 8x8 700. Recently retired & have. Time to maintain my Argo. I am not a mechanic. Would like to change beatings & seals. Also want to do oil changes. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for allowing me to join the group.

Get a vacuum oil pump and suck out the oil, change the filter. There are many threads in the Argo section about bearing changing. There is also a manual on the home page that covers those style bearings and axles.
Good luck, ask questions if needed and be patient on responses.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
