2014 Avenger EFI tach not working

I have noticed my tach not working. I'm not sure how it is wired in or what wires I should look for? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Really simple, look on the back side of the engine and you most likely see a small red wire hanging down by the cylinder head. Wrap that wire around the spark plug wire a few times and that's it, should wake your tach up.
