  • Metal filings building on on tranny

Hello I'm seeing on the top of the tranny metallic looking shavings or filings slowly building up over time. First I just thought its brake dust and never thought any more about it.
But so.ewhere in here I seen a guy mention filings and thought it was from his clutch.
Anyone have any insight on this?

You may have to shim out the driven clutch, shims available.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
        Joe Camel never does that.

between the clutch and the tranny. start small and add or go larger but be careful not to get things way out of alignement. never did it myself but had to pull the secondary last year and there was a shim.

might want to look at the surface that is suspect of making contact and creating shavings. or inspect the clutch itself
