Where to put a jack..

I put my floor jack in the middle and to one side with a 3ft 2x4 on it to lift my Vangaurd. I'm not sure if I'm putting the jack in the right location. If I want to get the front end up to get the water to drain better after I was it down where should I put the jack so I don't damage anything? I'm really hoping to find a owners manual and service manual soon so I don't have to ask some of these simple questions. So if anyone knows where I can buy a hard copy owners and service manual for a 2001 Argo Vangaurd 6x6 please let me know.

I use a 2x4 that goes from one side to the other under the tub and a floor jack. I place mine close to the front under where the frame inside is. For a manual, google Argo service manual, click on Free Argo ATV Manuals, scroll down to 6x6 models. Scroll down to Vanguard 11 and click on the picture. Continue down to Vanguard11 service manual. Download. I have never tried to print off the manual to have a hard copy and don't know where to get one unless right from Argo. I used to have cd's for the older vanguards ( maybe still do???) but have never had a 'book in my lap' manual. Have fun!

I always put it under the front tube of the frame at the front or under the hitch part of the frame at the rear. And alwayd at the center line side to side.
