Looking for a Argo for a friend.

Me and a few of my friends are looking for an Argo in good shape for a great guy we served with. My buddy was wounded in Afghanistan in 2009 and is now paralyzed from the waist down. We take him put riding with us in one are side by sides but I know he would love to be behind the controls so when I bought mine a few months back I thought it would be the perfect ATV for him we would just have to install a seatbelt harness so it doesn't throw him around. Me and my friends are all chipping in for it so if someone knows of one in really good shape for sale please let me know. I bought mine through Facebook Market and I never checked it out before I bought it I just took the sellers word on everything and got taken for a bath but I'm getting mine back in shape. I getting to know the machine so I will do the up keep for my friend when we get him one. It doesn't have to be an Argo it could be a Max but we really want something he can start riding as soon as we get it. I'm from Pennsylvania and there's one out there in a State close to me let me know. Thanks

good luck rj . ..you should'nt have much trouble finding a good machine from a reputable member here on this site . hopefully argo jim may know of something , he is in new jersey and knows all the machines well . very sweet thing you guys are doing for your buddy . look forward to hearing what comes up . he will have a great time riding his own aatv with you and your friends . johnboy va.

One of my friends found a 2002 Argo Vanguard 2 on Craigslist very close to where we live. We checked it out yesterday and I was in shock because of how good of shape it was in. We started it up and the engine sounded great. The Chains were new all around on it. We bought it on the spot and were going to give it to are buddy on Christmas. This is a machine he can get into and have fun with as soon as we give it to him everything on it was in great shape. Made me a little jealous because of the one I bought for myself but I got over that fast knowing it was going to one of the greatest guys I know who had my back more then once in combat.

Congratulations, glad you found a good one.

Just my strong opinion ,
Do not put a seat belt on a machine without a roll bar and don't drive a machine with a roll bar without seat belts.

ARGO J. The machine did come with a roll bar windshield and cover. We're going to hook up a 3 point harness because of my friends injury. I will take some pictures when we give it to him and post them.
