  • Argo Jim heater question

I always followed the instructions that came with my cab heater kit Avenger series but question the use of both thermostats as there is always a pause in warmth as the second thermostat opens to the rad yes the lower temp Stat in the block higher temp Stat nearest the upper rad hose if I removed the lower temp Stat completely would I not get a more consistent water temperature thru the heater core as I have a Guage it runs at low of 178 ish and the main Stat opens 195 ish consistently cycling under normal driving conditions about every two to three minutes in warmer Temps up to 4 to 5 min in the cold.NCT

Honestly I do not now, you may try to run a slightly cooler stat in the top to keep the flow more consistent?
    sigpic

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
