Well i have an '83 I/C model that i went through ODG to get an ownership for, its a bit of a pain but they actually help you register the Argo with the MTO, but anyway i seen a list of production numbers matched to product years 1983 was 5432-6234 so you would be a year under that.

Its an '82, best Argo made untill 1989-Argo Magnum started then, Only recommendation is to put a new set of brake pads, they are cheap and worth their weight in gold

Contact Ontario Dive & Gear and give them your serial number. Also, if the motor and transmission are original, give them those serial numbers and they should be able to tell you the exact year your Argo was built.Originally posted by gibba View Posthi all,
just trying to find out the exact year of my argocat, i no by the model that it was produced between 81 and 86, but is there a way to no the exact year? the model is a kb 8x8 i/c and serial number is 5172. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The previous owner of my '77 KB did and was given the month and year it was built.
