Well we got 9" of snow here on 12/19/08,,,a week or 2 ago my son put the 6' plow on the BigFoot(came with it),,he plowed with it after a couple inche's were on the ground,,,well after the storm ended 9 hrs later,,still had about 6" of snow to plow,,,once I got it started,,(choke frozen),,and was ready to go,,it was 19 degrees out at this time,,hit the winch control lower the plow,,put in Low range,,onward through the snow,,,,these rigs will push some snow,,was curling up in front of the plow,,I had the side plates on the plow,,I modified them a bit(they were all bent from previous owner),,staightened them out ,,trimmed both with the fire wrench to make even then welded on a 1/2"x1" flat stock to act as a skid on each side plate,,seems to work well!
That BigFoot was pushing up piles of snow 6' high,,,with just the RawHides on too,,,,I will admit,,,am kinda busy in the seat,,Raise/Lower winch,,reverse to low,,steering and throttle,,,,after a while son got in,,ran the winch,,,plus more weight,,,Pushed real GOOD then ! Later,,,,,Mark

if it don't float with out you getting wet . don't bring it !
R.I.P sage rogers 4 11 09 .
couldn't6 be happier with the performance!!

just so you would have a chance to brag. I don't know how often that happens for you?
. I guess I need a few cable clamps in my storage space. Well anyway I got out the tractor (55 horse new holland) and finished up quick. The tractor works good for pushing the piles back in prep for the next storm.

The first year I plowed I got stuck so many times I carried a shovel in the back and it wasn't for added weight...
