    fuel pump

here is a link to a post about the electric pump and 1 reason to have it http://www.6x6world.com/forums/engin...tting-out.html

evil and have nearly the same vintage of argo, and in our old kohler engines, the mechanical pump will lose it's prime if it sits more than about a week. the electric pump lets us get fuel up to the carb without having to crank the engine for a really long time.

napa sells the same pump as argo for a lot cheaper the part # is BK 610-1052for the pump. your newer model argo probably even has a mount for it under the seat

Had a thought today about fuel pump. If it works the same way my r.v. worked I would have to prime it first. Is this possible? Don't have time tonight to work on it so I thought I would run it by someone. thanks.

could very well be the case. before i did the electric pump, i would have to put compressed air to the gas tank to get fuel up to the pump, then it would work fine

Fuel pump was bad, ordered new one. Do you hook electric pump behind or in front of regular pump?

it should go from the gas tank, to the filter, to the electric pump, to the mechanical pump, to the carb. your machine probably has a mount for the pump under the seat. if that's the case, then you'll put the electric pump before the filter. really not a big deal. electric pumps seem to be able to pass a lot of trash without it doing dammage.

Got my bearings today. Got to replace 5 wheel and 2 that come off the drive chains. They're not that bad but do have a little play in them. I replaced the one that was real bad. I did 4 chain tensioners.Anyone got pics of the middle set under the gas tank? The chain seems to run up against the new tensioners. My argo looks alot like jerseybigfoot, same color and year.Ordered 8 tubes today because of slow leaks on 5 tires. Its not nice wondering if one or more of your tires is flat yet.I 'm getting anxious to get riding.Did I do the right thing with the tubes?Snow coming this week.

I have never tried tubes but believe it or not, Slime stopped all the leaks in my Argo tires.
