An 8x8 argo popped up in BC for sale and it is from the 1970's. The engine is not in it, but the engine is included. It was re-built but never put back after it stopped working. Its supposed to have 350 cc 2 stroke. So what i'm wondering is what kind of engine would this be? Who makes it?
Are there any things we should particularly look at when we are going to look at it? I cant just rely on the fact he sais the engine isnt in it and thats why it wont run. Obviously we cant put the engine back in where it is located and see if it runs. As far as i'v heard it is fairly easy to install. But would there be anything we should be looking at? Obviously dont want something thats worn out and un-repairable.
It comes with tracks which would be awesome as well.
This would probably be a new toy to tinker with and enjoy and wouldnt be used for hunting or anything of the sort. Just for fun on trails.
How fast approximately will this thing go with the current engine? We may look for a upgrade if we pick it up if it doesnt have the juice. It would be amazing in the snow falls we have had this season, up to 2 ft sometimes, but unlike a snowmowbile could be used in the summer!
Thanks
