Can anyone tell me if a set of Supertracks will fit on a 84 KB model eight wheeler? I found someone that would like to trade a set for my standard ones. Are they the same except for the width? Looks like the pins and collars are the same. How thick a wheel spacer will I need to clear the body sides? Will the flotation be that much better in snow over the standard tracks? I have Power Trac II 22-11-8 tires, will these work with tracks? Thanks in advance.

My guess is that if you can mount the standard tracks, you can mount the Supertracks. They are virtually identical, except the Supertracks have extended pads, which makes them wider.
Wheel spacers are, I think, 3" (mine are mounted right now, so I can't check for you)
The floatation of Supertracks is quite a bit better than the Standard Tracks (I have both). There are some dis-advantages to Supertracks though. It's easier to "twist" the Supertracks, causing you to drive out of a track, or they might push a track guide through a tire sidewall.
I am not familiar with "Power Track Tires", but if they fit in your Standard Tracks, they will fit in the Supertracks.

right now i have super tracks on my 86 kb and we have 35 links,thats what mine came with i run the 22 goodyears standard argo tires,i measured the spacer its aprox 2.5 inchComment

Thanks for the info. Correct me if I am wrong but it looks to me as the only difference in the two tracks is the width; so the number of links should be the same between the two. Now to see how much the spacers and stud extensions will cost.Comment
