Hello all been lurking all of the argo sites for sometime. So I decided this one was the best going. Bought a 1982 8x8 KB model orange in color with the standard (M) gear ratio from Richard Clark about 5 years ago and been using it for hunting and play. After taking care of most of the maintanance and repair that the older machines need. I must say it has been great owning this thing. I have built my own soft top frame (not ROP) and canvanse (sp) top, added a behind the seat gun rack and extra lighting. I have also used it a few times in the past few winters when roads were to dangerous to drive on to help EMS do welfare checks on some of our elderly neighbors. will post up some pix soon as I lost all of mine in a recent computer crash. ?? what is the difference in the models of the older argo's (ie) KB, I/C, ect.??
