I took mine to a machine shop and they fixed for about 20 bucks , much better than a new one for a couple hundred

I bent the left front axle on my 85 kb over the summer. I had Whipper make me a new one. I also replaced the outer bearing and flange with a new one from Argo. It was a pretty simple repair.

        hey evil,
did you have any trouble getting your old one out? i bent my right front jumping the thing at buzco last fall . i knocked the pins out of the sprocket tube when i got home, and have been running it ever sence trying to get the corosion between the axle and sprocket to break loose. all my other axles break pins, but the one i need to get appart seems to run fine with no pins at all

No, once I knocked the pins out and started pulling the axle out, the sprocket tube slid right off. Let me know what you figure out.

had the same problems with mine, had to use the gas bottles to heat up the flanges of the sprocket, not ideal but that was the only way i could get the thing off, yeah, that and a big hammer!
