        Angle Iron Band

Another thing to do is get some angle iron(1 1/4" works for attex, not sure on argo)and go around the whole tub at the seam. Then you can work off that with roll bars and brush guards. Or I have seen the angle just on the sides to which would be alot easier to build.

                Roll Bar/ Winch Support

On my argo I used 1 1/2 angle on sides and it has held up to a couple of trees hitting the top with no problems on the side. On my winch and bumper I added a internal brace from frame up to seam to help with the abuse. I have a 4000 # winch and have pulled a argo and meat trailer out at the same time with no problems. My bumper is made of pipe and attaches to rim and plate and I have gone over some good size trees with it and have only bent a corner(tabs need to be longer) to keep from bending.
                I hope this helps E-K-C

Sweetgaddy-Your profile is a bit empty. I get that the rollbar is for an Argo. If it happens to be a conquest or any 8 wheeler, you should look up postings by Rock Doctor. His goes all the way around ,includes a good pushbar and winch and storage and rear protection in the back. He has made postings that describes how he made the bends and what angle iron he used. He has posted lots of pictures and many movies and he has more experience tham most of us. good luck

If you wanted a winch, I would buy the winch mounting bracing from Argo. It will tie your winch into the frame. The winch and mounting bracket from Argo can be pricey so I just bought the bracing from Argo and bought a winch from Cabelas and had a mounting bracket made.
