slider blocks

have a conquest and it uses the small shaft slider block. ive been phoning around looking for replacements and all the dealers ive phoned are telling me that they're discontinued. some dealers tell me that i can upgrade to the larger slider block with the larger diameter shaft and some tell me its impossible.. i even had one dealer try to tell me that the only way to replace new sliders is to buy the kit(the older smaller sliders for $40.50 a pop.) that kit contains only one tensioner. i need eight or so any ideas. if thats the case im going to have to make the new style fit in my machine.(i do like how long these new style are, alot harder for them to flip over and you get twice the slider for about 50 cents more )

Go to a resturant by pice of teflon used for cuting boards at least 1/2 "
thick and make brackets steal or use old ones good luck Jack
