what ya looking to spend on 1 and how old ya looking for ? i have a 1975 argo with a new 440 ams,rebuilt carb,starter,wiring,rectifer,tailights,headlights, fuel system and so on lol. its not finished yet but hope to finish it this week. i just bought a conquest so wife said 6x6 has to go lol

Hi MC. Let me start off by saying I am not expert on Argos, OK, I know very little about em. One thing, however, is if your getting an older, "Cheaper" model, they can quickly turn into "Projects", "Projects" are rarely "Cheap", they are usually as much or more than a good condition machine. Check the chains, bearings, and sprockets. Drive it and feel for anything that "Doesn't seem right" Hopefully an Argo expert can chime in with specifics for that machine, but to start off, go with gut feelings. I bought an Attex that I knew was a project, but boy, was it a PROJECT!
