Good day all haven troble going left right is great but have to pull back real hard to go left ever thing look good to me for what I can see any one with help
I have a 1990 argo vanguard
never will ride anything with less then 6 wheels again
hopefully it's something simple, brakes make the argo turn, so pull the floor and dash and take a close look at your brake pads. also pull on the left lever and make sure that everything is moving/ working properly. not sure if you have manual or hydraulic brakes, but if it is the hydro, check the fluif level. if there is none in the master cylinder, that's your problem. fill it with dot 5 brake fluid and work the lever a few hundred times till you get something that feels like brakes. then go for a drive... it will feel better with time. i was told that the brakes on my argo are "self bleading" meaning that air will find it's way to the top over time. they do have a bleader on the caliper so you can bleed like a car. i did that and mine still felt terrible, but after one ride they were perfect

Mechanical brakes are not self adjusting, you might just have to tighten them up, or replace the brake pads. It's not uncommon for one set of brakes to wear out faster than the other due to riding conditions or machine quarks.
If not, I seem to remember that there is a component in the brakes that can bend/wear, I don't remember what off hand. You may have to disect the brakes to find it. I will try to call a friend about it, he would know, unless someone else here comes up with it first.
you can also try spraying the breake pads and disc with brack clean, just in case you might have a bit of oil or grease on that side, you might have to take the brakes off to get them cleaned up properly. i would try this and make sure that your linkage is adjusted properly as well.
glad to hear that steering is working, as far as left handle not going back to the dash, it might just be the adjustment, or something is binding, when pulling back, lever should be about 7 inches from dash. check the linkage at the bottom also try disconnecting the left brake and see if handle goes to the dash.
