I have a 97 Response. When I bought it I was getting around 24 mph on a gps. I had to have the clutches rebuilt recently. When I put them on I really didn’t pay attention to my speed I was just impressed I could turn in high gear from a stop. I was riding down the road and it just didn’t seem as fast so I got my gps and went back down the road to check. I had lost some speed it maxed out at 17.4 mph. Could his be just from my clutches being extremely worn out and now they are like new? If so is there a way to get some of the speed back with the new clutches? Thanks yall.
