Don't get on much anymore but here is a major improvement for those that use a trolling motor and extra accesories. Went to Cabelas for a deal on their size 24 [$129.99 ..reg price $179.99] Advanced Angler AGM battery for my boat. Got home and thought it might fit in the Avenger so i tried and low and behold it fit. Can't use the battery cover but this battery has 178 reserve minutes which means it can handle a 20 amp draw for 178 minutes Optimas are only 124 RMS. Takes only 10 min to swap out..no resoldering ..just remove those ugly post connectors and screw the eye connectors to the new battery. This has got to be the sweetest battery setup in an Avenger.
