TIRES

am looking at getting a new tire for my avenger that will work in the tracks as well as give me good traction out of them. I know argo just came out with the new frontiers by carlilse. But they are way too expensive. I am looking at trying to find a 4-6 ply tire so I do not run into the side wall problems that I have been running into "holes" I figure that as long as it is a 25x12x9 and does not have too agggessive of side lugs to keep from "walking" out of the tracks I shouldn't ahve a problem. ANY thoughs?

No help here, but I do have a suggestion.

I would save my pennies and get the Frontier tires. I know, I praise the Frontiers alot, but they do work for the terrain I run

How are you getting holes in your sidewalls and what tires are you running right now?

Tires

I know the new tires are expensive I have ran them on my Avenger with tracks and they ran great. No chain windup and all tires are very close to the same diameter. Just returned from Busco ride and these tires performed again, great. They out performed my Rawhides by a mile. Pulling out of a hole was as different as night and day. Leo's has them for 169.00 i checked. If you don't want all eight try two for the front I thought the rawhides were pretty good until i ran these. Just my two cents.

New Frontier Tires

I was at Busco with Lewis and I am sold on the new frontier tires. If I get a new set, It will be frontiers. Perfect for my use and I can keep my old set to run my trackes with.
