  • winch mount photos

I have a 2003 Argo Vanguard II without a winch. Would anyone have any pictures on how to mount a winch on it. Are the mounting plates something that could be fabricated or is it a must to buy the mounts and hoop?

    thanks

I would buy the hoop and brackets if possible. It comes with the roller fairlead on the outer plate.

        Winch Mount

Hi. I run an Argo Conquest and wanted a little different setup. Factory mounting would have the winch mounted at an angle. Not a problem but I wanted my winch to be level. I don't have any good pictures of it up close but here is one and the draft of my bracket plan. I used a grade 5 and 3 steel and had to cut the mounting holes out with a plasma cutter but the winch bracket is stronger than any other steel on the machine.

        Hope it will help. Randy
