Any of you guys have any tips on how to put the headlights back in after they get pushed out by a stick/branch?
What a PITA, I knew I should have put guards in front of them when I built my front pushbar, but didn't for some reason
For some reason, I always have a bugger of a time putting them back in.

i found putting some water on them works good.. when i used to build travel units i put in lots of lights and we used soapy water. i was having the same problem with sticks wacking them out. i was thinking of screwing a small mesh over the light area only.

If you're having trouble fitting the headlight and the rubber headlight mount into the hole (because the rubber's too stiff) I find that soaking the rubber in a pot of hot water for a few seconds works well, and makes it infinitely more maleable. I have to do this all the time for belly bands and headlight rubbers on the 30+ year old Attexes. Works wonders!

        Yes they are PIA

Soapy water helps to get them back in. The Avenger lights are as bad or worse. Rock i wish you luck. I took one out on purpose, will not do that again!!!!!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
