Just bought a 98 Conquest and put a fiberglass full hard top on. Any one have problems or suggestions regarding navigating water. I am not going deep sea diving in it.

they recomend you don't swim with a factory roll cage so I would say a hard top must be close to the same weight or more. If you do try it stay close to shore and keep the doors open in case you have to get out. I hope I don't scare you because I am the type that would be trying it. Just be careful the first time

If you plan on using a hardtop while on water, you best build yourself some bolt on outrigger pontoons. Check out this site... Rettey Pontoons For Pontoon Boats, Floating Docks, Platforms, Houseboats
Thing about a hardtop on water, besides adding way too much top weight, is that it also provides a hard surface area for wind to hit and push on. A hard wind might just flip you right over, without stabilization pontoons mounted.
Check out the hardtop I built in under my pictures. I only use it in the winter, and never do I travel on water with it on.
Keep On Ridin!!!!!
