          Frame Update

Was lucky to get a kitchen pass today to work on Argo Project. Finished welding back of frame. Used 1/4" flat bar full length across. 3/16" flat bar on inside frame where trailer hitch is bolted.Cut out the last two cross members.Welded in 1 1/4" sq. tubing. Doubled first cross member as my sheet of 1/8 " plate isn't long enough, will half to weld in two places and this will give me a good place to weld to. Also ground off rust with walter disk on very iside of frame, back of100_0714.jpg

100_0717.jpg frame and cross members. Used a product call Rust Converter. It is in liquid form and brushed on with paint brush and will turn rust black and turns polished metal a gun metal gray(see pics of back frame and cross members ). It kills rust from spreading and is a primer for further painting. First time I used this product looks good to me ! Some pics. Enjoy Tim
