    Yea I agree, the way a differantial works, it will create a gearing ratio twice as high as normal on a full turn. Like in a car/truck, when one tire isn't turning, the other is turning twice as fast as normal. Turning take power/torque and when your gearing it up your loosing torque.

        I am going to follow the advice given and see if I can locate a T20. I have been reading as much as I can about them. I have never seen one in person so I'm not sure how to find a good one and all the parts that go with it. I have been watching craigslist hoping to find another AATV to use as a donor.

        I'm also thinking about going with double #50 chain. The PO of my Argo had used chain that was smaller than single #50. #50 fits the sprockets I have now so I'm not sure if it's an upgrade I need.

          I know I suggested the t20, but have no idea what it would take to fab it in there/if/how it would work/fit.

            Those are things I have been wondering about.

              Two motors would not require twice as many batteries. Actually, together they would require a little more amperage as one (under the same load conditions of the whole machine). Agreed on the cost of a second controller and motor though. As for foward/reverse capabilities on each motor, you would just need to find the right controllers as motor forwarding/reversing is quite common in industries using VFD's.
