  • no-tracks options

Well, no more questions about buying - done that. I am now the owner of a '97 conquest. Has 150 hrs and is in awesome shape.

One of the stated uses is ice fishing. If you check out track options for a 8x8 conquest I forsee supertracks like the pictured with steel cleats or chain for snow and ice conditions. Someday.

Budget is blown for now and maybe for this year.

So I am thinking - out loud sorta - that if I stay on ice I could probably get away with running one set of ATV chains on like the second or third axle. Whatta ya think?

    on ice

I ran my frontier 650 8x8 on ice this spring with tires only. No problem on bare ice or snow pac. Running on loose snow over a foot deep you will get high centered.
