This may seem a dumb question but if the worst comes to the worst does the conquest 8 X 8 sink. My gues is that it dosn't but its easyer to ask than to do a test. I have made a outboard moter holder that bolts into the towbar and bought a 5 Hp seagull outboard that weighs about 15 to 17 Kg and are going to take a spin up some of the rivers round here. Be interested to here from you.

Well it sounds to me that the Max sinks and the conquest floats. This does make me feel happy as i have already sunk a three weeler and two jet boats. The three weeler just flipped upside down and started again when i got it to the bank.(It fell off the front of my tractor crossing a river)THE KIWI

I,ve had my Max IV with water up to the bottom of the front dash , and with only the middle and rear tires to keep the tub afloat. My Max IV was in the water for six hours like this , and until I could come back later and pull it out, never sank any lower.Last edited by mudbug3; 08-01-2009, 04:52 PM.

An argo dealer told me an owner was towing a 6 behind a boat, and something happened.. don't remember if he said vanguard or bigfoot.. bigfoot tires might make a difference. The 6 submerged but the rear tires were on the surface. Larger tires and or wheels makes the response and conquest really sit up out of the water and super stable. To Invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk. (Thomas Edison)
