Conquest Belt problem.

I have a conquest with the 21hp kawasaki in it. At full throttle in high gear the belt spins but slips on the secondary clutch. I have pulled the secondary and cleaned the clutch faces. The dealer says i have the right belt, i have replaced the belt, and the problem persists. It is hard to tell if the belt is for sure slipping, it almost feels like the transmission comes out of gear, but it does not. Any ideas?

How many hrs on the clutch?
Might have to tighten the secondary, or replace the spring.

When you cleaned the faces, were they polished "shiney" smooth? If so, do it again and try rubbing them with something that's "SLIGHTLY" abrasive, like "Scotch Bright" pads.
