My first Argo "98 conquest"

Hi im new to argos....I have just purchased a 98 Argo Conquest 8x8 and am just curious if these machines are netorious for anything or any input on this machine i would greatly appreciate it. From what ive being reading and view u can really give these machines a beating and they seem to take it.

Conquest is the top model of Argo in the late 90's,keep the chains well lubed and go out and have fun with it!!!!!!!

hey congrats! from what I know the Conquest is a solid performer and should provide you with very good service for a long time!

Probobly would'nt hurt to, jack it up,,give each wheel a tug/pull/shake to get a feel of the axel bearings,,,,check the mid shaft bearings also(chains from the tranny go to this shaft),,,Pull the wheels and grease it up,,many grease fittings inside too,,check and or change the gear oil in the tranny,,,,Look at the fuse holder in front of the engine (in the wire harness),,,gets hot and melts some,,causing charging problems,,,,OK for now,,,lol,,all these,,plus more were issues on my 00' BigFoot!
