  • Bush Ride

Seen a couple of you liked some of the photos I put up I thought I might Post this vid of a back country ride we did in the weekend. The filming is a bit rough but you may get the idea. We went down an old horse trail that was opened up after the second word war. It takes about 3 hours to get in to the end and out again, we didn't go right to the end because we went in alone and its about 4 or 5 hours to walk out if anything breakes down

Very nice video Paul, looks like a very cool place to ride.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Beautiful trail. So exotic. You've set everyone up for some more video expectations from New Zealand.

Thanks for the comments there are afew more bush rides planed but I've got to wait for my mate to mend his 4 broken ribs and a puncured lung. I don't like going to far by myself in case of a breakdown. The argo has only let me down once in the last 2 years when i blew a master cylinder but was close to home at the time. Putting together a good breakdown kit may be a good new thread.

Hey Paul, Nice vid, looks like an interesting place.

Also, there are several threads containing tool lists and spare part lists, someplace in this site, I will try to find one for you later (If you don't find them yourself sooner)
