I am seriously looking at picking up a new frontier 6x6,I know the 8x8 will haul way more and will climb better though.I just bought a new boat so the wife may be ok with a frontier 650 6x6 but won't like a $20,000 avenger.
Will the 650 still climb well?better than a 4x4 quad. Also will the 6x6 have any trouble hauling gear and moose in a trailer through some ruff ground?I have heard they are pretty reliable now?Would a 3000lb warn winch be enough on a 6x6 or is a 4500lb nessessary

    thanks, very informative site

Well I just bought a new 2009 Argo Frontier 650 6x6 in August and love it. It has all the climbing an pulling power you will need. The 3000lb winch should be sufficient. I don't think you will have any regrets whatsoever. The 650 is a 23 hp which is plenty of power. As far as climbing goes, I believe the 6x6 will do a fine job. I live in Nova Scotia Canada and can honestly say that Argo (ODG) from Ontario has treated me excellent. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat but the dealer that I purchased from Cape Breton won't ever get another dollar of mine.
