  • First impressions. First Argo ride

I'm 30 years old, and I've raced motocross on bikes and fourwheelers. Ive riden a 1/2 mile wheelie on a Honda Cr250, i've done 153mph on a Suzuki gsxr 750rr. I drove 8 laps and hit 169mph at Talladega Speedway..........twice. Ive flown several different airplains, and been in everything you can imagine that's fast, but nothing in all of my days has been as BAD A$$ as this argo. It's slow, geared down, and unstopable! I absolutely love it!

I can't believe I've not been on one of these in years past. I have only heard rumors as to what they could do. I'm totally hooked, and will never own another "utility" vehicle, or "hunting" fourwheeler......EVER again.

Total bad a$$ machine, I can't believe i'm fortunate enough to be in the presence of this thing. It truly is BAD to the BONE. I think i have a nickname for it already.

Very cool first impression. It's so different than anything else and I think you summed that up nicely. Welcome to the 6x6 World.

So, i am thinking you like you machine!!! It just gets better when you ride with others!! Glad you are enjoying you machine. Glad to have you on the site.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

I agree, we all have lots of various "toys", in my case, being a lifelong gearhead its a couple of musclecars, a 32 roadster hotrod, 4 wheelers, and too many boats. Most of mine are aggravations that consume money for the limited amount of fun they provide, always needing something (especially the boats) but my Argo never ceases to put a grin on my face. I call mine THE TANK. It was something I had wanted for years even though I had never driven one or even seen one up close. The minute I got behind the sticks I knew I should have had one years before....so much fun to ride!

Welcome to the site. I'm a newbe myself and know where your comeing from. I bought a Conquest over two years ago and was hooked on it straight away. In fact not soon after buying it I sold my faverit toy a steel hull jet boat and have never regretted the move. My wife loves trail riding in the argo as well ,and you know if the wife is happy every body is happy
