Hey guys I've stumbled across a 2000 Conquest with 10 hours heated storage since new, not a mark, no options looks like a time warp thing. How much is it worth?

the story I got is it was bought new by a fellow that ended up having a back injury that wouldn't allow him to use it, the fellow that currently has it bought it with 7.5 hours a month or so ago and put another 2.5 hours on it and is trying to sell it I assume at a profit to finance the purchase of a new HDI. He found out about it from a friend and struck a deal with the original owner. The current owner wants $10,500 firm Can. for it. I'm always a bit skeptical but I believe this one. After the game the King and the Pawn end up in the same Box!

A home inspector told me one time........................."it's your money, not mine." "Something you think is a steal, I might think you're getting robbed."
Ultimately, you are the one paying for it. If you can sleep at night with the pricetag, go ahead. It's yours, be proud of it. It looks really good. Also, it seems to be brand-spanking-new. Even though it's 10 years old. The parts are 95% interchangable anyway.
So, could you go out and buy a 2010 for 10k, NOPE!
I say do it!

The above poster makes good points about the deal. My opinion is that the vehicle is over priced. The condition helps but it is 10 years old. Argo dealers are desparate for sales in this bad economy and they are ready to deal. For just a little more money you could have a brand new 8x8 Frontier. They run right about $14k, only $3500 more than the 10 year old Conquest. The Frontier has all the newest improvements easily worth the extra cash. 24" Argo tires, new trans, more power (20hp vs 23hp), new body design, digital display, and more. It's your call.Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.

MaxRules you hit the nail on the head I keep thinking the same thing 3 or 4 thousand more you get the Frontier 8x8 with lots of improvements. I will probably end up keeping the Response for now but it is an interesting find. I offered $9500 and it was a no go.Last edited by Rumbles; 10-23-2009, 06:53 AM.After the game the King and the Pawn end up in the same Box!
