2002 Argo 8x8 Conquest gear whine

My Argo transmission has a gear whine in forward. I have been reading in the forums and this seems to be problem with the Argo gear boxes in that time span. Is this the case or is there a fix for it other than changing it out to a newer style box ? Any help would be appriciated.

It's normal, my 2004 is the loudest one that I know of. Very annoying sometimes. Some guys put additives in that can help, but I don't recall what ones they like the best.

I found that the only additive that worked realy well was ear plugs.
