hdi steering problems

I just got my new 2010 hdi and im having steering problems when driving in 8" of snow or less when in high range and traveling in powder snow i cant steer left to right if the snow is packed i can steer with no problems has anyone had problems like this it looks like you need traction to make the machine steer in high range.

I have seen where if you are in high gear with the hdi you need traction on the side that you are turning twoards it does not steer like a avenger or frontier the new style tranny takes some getting used to.
