2002 Argo Bigfoot Price?

Hello everyone! I am new to the site and looking for more info on 6x6's. I am looking to purchase my first 6x6 and need some help. Here is what I am looking at 2002-2003 Argo 6x6 Bigfoot, camo body and seats, 18 hp b&s, 120 hours, brush guard, winch, trolling motor mount (no motor), hand rails, bilge pump, and skid plates. Overall it seems to be in good working order, tires have plenty of tread, it floats , has some mild idle issues and the battery will go dead if you leave the fuse in for the winch (groud issue???), and the camo is a little faded. All in all seems like a nice unit. So what do I need to look for? What is a reasonable price? The owner stated that he bought the unit new 7 years ago and it was about 11K with all of the extras and that he does not have a title to it. I am really excited to join the 6x6 family. Hi Randy, I can tell you that these ARGO's (or any 6x6) aren't that plentiful on the used market around here. I just bought a 98 Bigfoot with 140 hours (or close) with tracks for $5600 and was happy to find it. It is in good shape and seems to be a sound machine thus far. I was told to insure the bearings are all tight. (jack up one side and grab each wheel and lift up/sideways to insure no movement) I don't think these come with a title.. I had the seller write up a bill of sale that included the serial number/date/price, etc; I would insure the xmission shifts OK without too much resistance when idling and check the oil for residue, burnt smell, same with xmission fluid. I'm sure there are machines out there for less than what I paid but not anywhere close to me at that time. Good luck with your decision.

hello, back in october i bought a 2006 argo bigfoot with canopy, winch, windsheild and super tracks for an eight wheeler. all of this cost me 6000.00 canadian. the bigfoot had 208 hrs on it. i thought that this was a steal, and i wanted the tracks, windsheild and canopy for my conquest. the bigfoot will become the trailer for behind my argo and the engine and trans i am putting into my dads 1980 argo. i hope that this helps with your purchase of this argo.
