Brake Woes

My 2005 argo avenger has had its share of brake problems.Two attempted fixes by the dealer have not
succeeded.When my machine gets warmed up my brakes seize, the brake fluid has been changed and master cylinders worked on.I had to back off shaft on both master cylinders to get moving, one of the shafts turned very easily the other needed persuasion.Needless to say steering&braking are difficult.
Has anyone had this happen to them.

sounds like your dealer isnt much of a mechanic?? i have seen this happen to many people with maxs and argos. with all sorts of problems.

Heat can be a big problem. How are you keeping them cool??? COuld do some duct work in there to force some cool air or take away the hot air

One thing i can think of to check. Make sure when your steering is straight, that the plungers in the master cylinders are flush with the MC bodies. Plungers that are too far in will not release fluid back into the reservoir.

Also check your calipers and make sure your cotter pins that hold the pads in place are not borked.

I'm assuming your brakes are seizing "on" when warm and not seizing "off"

Brakes are seizing when hot&cotter pins look good.I will check and make sure that plungers are flush.
