I have a 55 lb. thrust minn kota that I use on my Bigfoot. It does a good job.

you need as long a shaft as possible, to get below the bottom of the tub, otherwise the thrust is just a hamilton beach mixer action.

I have a 55 lb thrust for my Argo Conquest .Its alright the problem is the battery . You really push a lot of water in an Argo and the battery goes pretty quick .I would like a 4stroke using the Argos gas tank and my 55 minkota fo just moving within the area. but for going to the next place to fish , I think a gas motor is the way to get there.
